About This Event

 

In the run up to World Mental Health Day, Shine Workplace Wellbeing is hosting a week long series of webinars, designed to engage, inspire and give our mental health a welcome boost in these challenging times.

All sessions start at 12pm and will run for around 30 mins, except Friday’s panel session which will last approximately 45 minutes. All are completely free-to-attend and joining details will be sent 24 hours before each session’s start time.

8th October, 12pm An Introduction to Mindfulness

Mindfulness has soared in popularity in recent years and is now being adopted by a number of businesses, who have found it hugely beneficial across teams and companies. This session explores this growth, the business benefits, how to start your Mindfulness practice and includes an easy exercise. It concludes with a Q&A section. 9th October, 12pm Mental Health in the Workplace - Panel Discussion

Our panel of respected names in the employee wellbeing space share their thoughts on the current state of mental health awareness in the workplace.

What can businesses do to eradicate any stigma around mental ill-health? What approaches have worked in businesses so far? How effective is Mental Health First Aid training on a corporate level? What should companies be considering around mental health and wellbeing in light Covid-19’s impact? These are just some of the questions the below panel will be answering.
